Derek Eoff defeated Rick Erce 206-205 to win the Survivor finals of the MAST event at Leisure Lanes in Monroe Sunday. Eoff qualified third at 982, and averaged over 236 through the four survivor rounds en route to the win, his twelfth career MAST title.

Sixty-two bowlers competed on Leisure’s house pattern. After four games of qualifying the cut to survivor-round play was 909. Chad Maas led qualifying at 1,020 including one of the day’s two honor counts with a 300 opening game; he earns twenty-five bonus points in the M & J Truck and Auto Points Race. Todd Kjell shot 300 in his final qualifying game to climb to the ninth qualifying spot, before eventually bowing out in the semi-finals.
Tour co-sponsor Bob Holzbauer and Phoenix Pro Shop donated a 900 Global Money Badger bowling ball at cost, won by Amanda Reithmeyer. Host center Leisure Lanes provided a lineage discount and added three $10 gift cards, won by Chris Pounders, Jeff Prein, an Lindsey Conklin. Combined proceeds resulted in $241 added to the tournament prize fund. MAST extends a huge Thank You to Phoenix Pro Shop and Leisure Lanes for their generosity.
Our next event is at Viking Lanes in Stoughton on Sunday, November 24th at 11:30am. That event will be regular match-play finals and will be contested on Viking’s house shot. Deak’s Pub & Grill will be sponsoring that event, adding $300 to the tournament prize fund. We hope to see you all there.
