Herb Kimpel defeated Andy Bunkoske 258-235 to win the survivor finals in the MAST event at Viking Lanes in Stoughton Saturday. Kimpel was the lone left-hander to advance out of the qualifying round, claiming the final qualifying spot at 900, before averaging over 246 in the four rounds of survivor play en route to the win. This was Kimpel’s eighteenth career MAST title.

Tour co-sponsor Phoenix Pro Shop and Bob Holzbauer donated a Motiv Golden Jackal bowling ball at cost, won by Kyle Kotlowski. Host center Viking Lanes provided a lineage discount, and donated a free entry in their 8-Pin Tap Team Tournament (won by Casey Gibney) and three $10 gift cards (won by Chris Jackson, Tim Morris, and Evan Wartgow). Combined proceeds added $705 to the tournament prize fund. MAST extends a huge Thank You to M & J Truck and Auto, Phoenix Pro Shop, and Viking Lanes for their generosity.
